Terms of Service

1. The service

Passport Photo Guru ("we", "the service") generates passport, visa and ID photos from photos you upload, using AI image processing. Previews are free; the high-resolution download costs the price shown at checkout (currently $2.99 per photo), processed by Stripe.

2. Compliance disclaimer

Our presets follow published government specifications, and we take care to produce compliant photos. However, acceptance decisions are made solely by the receiving authority (e.g. the U.S. State Department, USCIS, or an embassy), and requirements can change. We are not affiliated with any government agency, and we cannot guarantee acceptance. Always verify current requirements with the issuing authority.

3. Refunds

Because the watermarked preview shows the exact final result before you pay, purchases are generally final. We refund in full if the delivered file is technically defective (corrupted, wrong dimensions, or materially different from the preview). Contact us with your job ID within 14 days.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to:

• Upload only photos of yourself, or of a person who has authorized you (e.g. your child).
• Not upload photos of third parties without consent, or any unlawful content.
• Not use generated photos to misrepresent identity or commit fraud.
• Not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or abuse the service or its API.

5. Intellectual property

You retain all rights to your photos. You grant us a temporary licence to process them solely to deliver the service. Generated photos are yours to use for your applications. The site design, brand and software remain our property.

6. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the affected order. We are not liable for indirect damages such as visa delays, missed travel, or application fees.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
